What we sell at glug…

Tyne Bank Monument at glugMonument Bitter – is a 4.1% copper coloured bitter.

The carefully selected malt bill provides hints of caramel, which are perfectly balanced with the best English hops, giving notes of berry fruits.

Tyne Bank Pacifica at glugPacifica Pale Ale – a 4 % pale ale, is well hopped using four varieties of hops from countries bordering the Pacific Ocean.

These provide an excellent citrus character to the beer which is supported by the highest quality English malt.

A very refreshing beer.

Tyne Bank Silver DollarSilver Dollar – is a highly popular, award-winning American Pale Ale.

This 4.9% ale features a glowing amber colour, robust malt base and west coast American hops.

The solid malt backbone allows more use of these hops, which feature a higher alpha acid content, giving a bold citrus fruit flavour and a piney character quintessential of this style of beer.

The bitterness is lasting, but not overpowering.

Silver Dollar was awarded three stars in the 2015 Great Taste Awards by the Guild of Fine Foods.

Tyne Bank Southern Star at glugSouthern Star – is an occasional brew, a delicious 5% New Zealand hopped IPA.

Tyne Bank use the best Southern Hemisphere hops to give this beer a bold and fruity flavour.

Due to the climate in which these hops grow, they impart a drier character than other varieties with hints of crisp gooseberries and grapefruit.

A full bodied IPA with powerful and complex flavours.

Peloton Pale Ale - Tyne Bank BreweryPeloton Pale Ale – brewed in collaboration with The Free Trade Inn and the Cycle Hub Cafe to celebrate the UK cycling culture.

Peloton is a 3.7% pale ale featuring a delicate aroma with hints of mango.

The flavour is of juicy tropical fruits.

The mild bitterness leaves a slightly dry and very refreshing finish.

Motueka Blonde – a New Zealand Pale Ale in collaboration with Gosforth-Based Brandling Villa.

Mocha Milk Stout – made with coffee from our wonderful neighbours – Pumphreys Coffee.
